Blood Wood (Brosimum paraense)

This distinctive deep red-colored wood is found in Central
and Latin America primarily in the countries of Brazil,
French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname.  It is also known
as Cardinal Wood, Satine, and Satinwood.
