Land Olive Wood.    This wood is from trees that have been
bearing fruits in the Nativity town of Bethlehem since the time
of the Romans.

This certificate assures you that this is authentic Bethlehem
Holy Land olive wood.

A natural raw material that was produced from the prunes of
young olive trees, the sprouts from the trunks of the old and
unproductive trees, which is an essential process for a
healthier growth for the trees and to generate environmental
stability.

No trees were damaged or destroyed in the process of
harvesting this olive wood.

The natural swirl and contrast of the Olive Wood grain will
draw your mind to the beauty of this tree.  The Olive tree is a
subtropical, broad-leafed, evergreen tree, which has edible
fruit.  The tree ranges in height from 3 to 8 meters or more and
has numerous branches.  In October, the trees are pruned and
the wood is sold to craftsmen who create different arts and
crafts.

Many of these trees are over 300 years old and some have
been growing since the time of Christ.  You may estimate the
age of a particular piece by examining its grain.  Older trees
have a dark grain while younger trees exhibit a lighter grain
color.
